Top Ten Thursday; NBA Basketball

Week 13 of the NBA season is behind us and the season continues to shine as new faces emerge in the league.

10. Milwaukee Bucks (21-18) Previous Rank: 10
Last Game: Lost to the Indiana Pacers 109-96
Next Game: Tonight against the Orlando Magic
Giannis has been dominate so far this season on both ends of the court. Could he propel his team to further victories.

 

9. Washington Wizards (23-17) Previous Rank: 9
Last Game: Lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 110-103
Next Game: Tonight against the Utah Jazz
Wall and Beal continue to excel as to very talented guards in the league.

 

8. Oklahoma City Thunder (22-19) Previous Rank: 8
Last Game: Lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 117-106
Next Game: Tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves
The Thunder have hit a rough patch recently but if they can fix their issues they could be a dominate team in the west.

 

7. Minnesota Timberwolves (26-16) Previous Rank:7
Last Game: Defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 127-99
Next Game: Tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder
The new look Timberwolves have been exciting to watch this season and continue to find ways to win.

 

6. San Antonio Spurs (28-14) Previous Rank: 5
Last Game: Defeated the Sacramento Kings 107-100
Next Game: Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers
Leonard might be out for a while due to another injury but I expect the Spurs to continue to succeed as we approach the halfway point.

 

5. Houston Rockets (28-11) Previous Rank: 4
Last Game: Defeated the Chicago Bulls 116-107
Next Game: Tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers

 

 

4. Toronto Raptors (28-11) Previous Rank: 6
Last Game: Lost to the Miami Heat 90-89
Next Game: Thursday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers
DeRozan and Lowry continue to excite in the east and with the help of Ibaka they continue to succeed.

 

3. Cleveland Cavaliers (26-14) Previous Rank: 3
Last Game: Lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-99
Next Game: Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors
Lebron is having a career year and with Thomas back expect the Cavaliers to find their path again down the stretch.

 

 

2. Boston Celtics (33-10) Previous Rank: 2
Last Game: Defeated the Brooklyn Nets 87-85
Next Game: Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers in London
Boston has a terrific defense and rookie Jayson Tatum looks to continue to grow and dominate for the new look Celtics.

 

1. Golden State Warriors (33-8) Previous Rank: 1
Last Game: Defeated the Denver Nuggets 124-114
Next Game: Tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers
Shooting couldn’t be any better for players like Durant and Curry and if things continue they could find future success down the road.
