Top Ten Thursday; NFL Football

Week 10 of the NFL season has come to a close and has playoffs near the teams continue to hunt for a playoff spot.

10. Carolina Panthers (7-3) Previous Rank: N/A
Last game: Defeated the Miami Dolphins 45-21
Next game: Bye
Carolina is slowly beginning to find its groove with the run game and the defense is getting the stops the teams needs to move forward.


9. Seattle Seahawks (6-3) Previous Rank: 6
Last game: defeated the Arizona Cardinals 22-16
Next game: Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons
The injury to Richard Sherman will hurt the defense but Byron Maxwell should be back to his Legion of Boom self shortly. Injuries continue to hurt this team on both sides of the ball.


8. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3) Previous Rank: 10
Last game: Defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in OT 20-17
Next game: Cleveland Browns on Sunday
The defense is key to this teams success as they are accountable for a majority of the teams points this season. Having Fournette back in the line up will help power the offense.


7. Minnesota Vikings (7-2) Previous Rank: 4
Last game: Defeated the Washington Redskins 38-30
Next game: Los Angeles Rams on Sunday
Teddy Bridgewater is back and the offense continues to surge while having little run game involved.


6. Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) Previous Rank: 5
Last game: Bye
Next game: New York Giants on Sunday
The bye week should help this team regroup and figure itself out if it wants to continue to succeed moving forward.


5. Los Angeles Rams (7-2) Previous Rank: 7
​Last game: Defeated the Houston Texans 33-7
Next game: Minnesota Vikings on Sunday
The offense has been exciting to watch with Goff and Gurley taking the helm this season. The defense has looked better than many had expecting.


4. New Orleans Saints (7-2) Previous Rank: 8
​Last game: Defeated the Buffalo Bills 47-10
Next game: Washington Redskins on Sunday
Both Ingram and Kamara rushed for over 100 yards against Buffalo. The offense has finally found its groove and will continue to impress going forward.

Last game: Defeated the Indianapolis Colts 20-17
Next game Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans
Smith-Schuster has impressed in his first season in the league. The defense is starting to mesh well and is forcing good opportunities for the offense.

The defense is improving each and every week and Tom Brady continues to do his thing.

The presence of Jay Ajayi will help power an offense that already has a lot of talent behind it.
