Top Ten Thursday; NBA Basketball

With many upsets and buzzer beaters happening this early on in the season who knows what’s in store coming up. here are the Top 10 teams heading into week 4 of the season.

10. Milwaukee Bucks (4-3) Previous Rank: 9
Last game: Lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-91
Next game: Tonight against the Charlotte Hornets
Giannis continues to show the community how bring his future may be as he averages 33 PPG, 10 RPG, and 5 APG this season.



9. Portland Trail Blazers (4-3) Previous Rank: N/A
Last Game: Lost to the Toronto Raptors 99-85
Next Game: Tonight against the Utah Jazz
The Trail Blazers are the top rebounding team in the NBA and defense continues to improve defense with Lillard and McCollum on the team


8. Toronto Raptors (4-2) Previous Rank: 5
Last game: Defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 99-85
Next game: Tonight against the Denver Nuggets
The Raptors are beginning to get quality production out of its young players this season.


7. Boston Celtics (5-2) Previous Rank: N/A
Last game: Defeated the San Antonio Spurs 108-94
Next game: Tonight against the Sacramento Kings
The Celtics have the second best defense in the NBA which should be able to keep the team in the mix for the top seed in the East. Rookie Jayson Tatum also continues to improve as he averages 18 PPG.


6. Cleveland Cavaliers (3-4) previous Rank: 3
Last game: Lost to the New York Knicks 114-95
Next game: tonight against the Indiana Pacers
The defense for the Cavaliers has been almost non-existent the last three games of the season.


5. Memphis Grizzles (5-2) Previous Rank: N/A
Last game: Lost to the Charlotte Hornets 104-99
Next game: Tonight against the Orlando Magic
The Gasol and Conley duo has worked great for the Grizzlies lately as the team continues to find success. The offense is also getting help off of the bench from Tyreke Evans and James Ennis.


4. Los Angeles Clippers (4-2) Previous Rank: 8
Last game: Lost to the Golden State Warriors 141-113
Next game: Tonight against the Dallas Mavericks
The Clippers continue to shine behind the NBAs best defense as well as behind Blake Griffin offense performance.


3. Golden State Warriors (5-3) Previous Rank: 4
Last game: Defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 141-113
Next game: Tomorrow night against the San Antonio Spurs
The Warriors look different this season offensively and defensively as they put together an 18 point comeback against the Wizards but lost to the Detroit Pistons as they scored 33 pts against them.


2. San Antonio Spurs (4-3) Previous Rank: 1
Last game: Lost to the Boston Celtics 108-94
Next game: Tomorrow night against the Golden State Warriors
LaMarcus Aldridge has been fantastic this season and with the Spurs settling at home for a couple weeks hopefully they can rack up a couple more wins before Kawhi Leonard returns.


1. Houston Rockets (5-3) Previous Rank: 2
Last game: Lost to the Philadelphia 76ers 115-107
Next game: tonight against the New York Knicks
The offense is a huge question as the Rockets attempted only 28 shots inside the arc while attempting 57 3-pointers.
