Dawg Pound Scoop: The Kicking Game

This week, the Browns were handed another loss, this time, by the hands of the Tennessee Titans. The kicking game was on full display this week, as field goals were the only source of scoring throughout. A 12-9 final score was the result, as we were shown how valuable kickers are to NFL franchises.

The Browns cashed in with K Zane Gonzalez when he hit a 31 yarder, knotting the score, but Succop would come right back to knock in a 23 yarder to make the score 6-3 at half.

Zane Gonzalez hit a 47 yarder in the 3rd, tieing up the score once again, and leading into the 4th with a touchdown still yet to be scored.

After trading field goals in the 4th, the game headed to overtime with tied at 9.  A nice drive led by QB Marcus Mariota set up Succop to cash in for the 4th time of the day, hitting the game winner from 47 yards out.

This game was a very bland one, both to watch and to take part in.  The game did get intense towards the end, as the Browns had a chance at cracking their first win, but they fell short, yet again.  This 7th consecutive loss of the year proves that a drastic change is needed in order to help preserve another terrible season.
