Special Tuesday Top 10; NBA Preseason

With the NBA season starting today here is what I believe to be the Top 10 teams heading into week 1.

10. Toronto Raptors
Preseason Record: 3-2
First game: Thursday against the Bulls
Bringing back veteran point guard Kyle Lowry helps the Raptors out offensively besides DeMar DeRozan who had attempted 748 midrange shots last season.

9. Denver Nuggets
Preseason Record: 3-1
First game: Wednesday against the Jazz
Nikola Jokic will only get better over the next couple years, after being added to the line-up after the All-Star game, Jokic went to average 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.

8. Washington Wizards
Preseason Record: 3-1
First game: Wednesday against the 76ers
Washington will continue to thrive offensively behind John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Potter and Marcin Gortat.

7. Minnesota Timberwolves
Preseason Record: 2-1
First Game: Wednesday night against the Spurs
The Timberwolves were able to add some key defensive players as they added shooting Guard Jimmy Butler and power forward Taj Gibson. They also added a shooter for their bench in veteran Jamal Crawford

6. Boston Celtics
Preseason Record: 4-0
First game: Tonight against the Cavaliers
The Celtics added key offensive players such as Gordan Hayward and trading for Kyrie Irving. They also drafted Jayson Tatum and returned players Jaylin Brown and Al Horford.

5. San Antonio Spurs
Preseason Record: 3-2
First Game: Thursday against the Timberwolves
Kawhi Leonard continues to dominate after ranking in the Top 10 in points per game, steals per game, and blocks per game.

4. Oklahoma City Thunder
Preseason Record: 3-1
First game: Thursday against the Knicks
The Thunder were able to add to more superstars in Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to help play behind Russell Westbrook.

3. Houston Rockets
Preseason Record: 4-1
First Game: tonight against the Golden State Warriors
The offense added Chris Paul who averaged 8.5 assists last season. The team offensively will be amazing to watch behind James Harden, Chris Paul, Ryan Anderson, Trevor Ariza and Clint Capela.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers
Preseason Record: 1-4
First Game: tonight against the Cavaliers
When nobody expected the Cavaliers to get any better they did, they added players such as Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose, Dwayne Wade and Jae Crowder.

1. Golden State Warriors
Preseason Record: 2-2
First Game: tonight against the Rockets
The Bulls starting line-up continues to impress behind Curry, Thompson, Green, and Durant. They also added another 3-point shooter in Nick Young
