College Football: Top Ten Thursday

10. Oklahoma St.

Last Week: #10

An easy win over South Alabama, now Oklahoma St eyes a road contest against Pittsburgh. Mason Rudolph looks to continue his quest for Heisman Trophy.

9. Michigan

Last Week: #9

The Wolverines followed up an impressive win over Florida in week one with another win over Cincinnati in week two. They have another home game against Air Force before they open up Big Ten play in a few weeks.

8. Ohio St.

Last Week: #2

The Buckeyes lost a tough game against the Oklahoma Sooners at home this past weekend. This drops them to eight in this weeks rankings, and they will look to rebound in the hopes of a playoff run.

7. Wisconsin

Last Week: #8

Lane Kiffin and Florida Atlantic came into Camp Randall and fought hard early on, but the Badgers cruised to another home win. They take the road next against BYU.

6. Washington

Last Week: #6

The Huskies had no problem at home against FCS Montana St. and look to add another win to their resume against Fresno St. this coming weekend before they open PAC-12 play.

5. USC

Last Week: #7

The Trojans had an impressive win over bitter rival Stanford, helping them move up a few spots in this weeks rankings. They have been proving some doubters wrong early on this season, and look to keep it going against Texas this weekend.

4. Penn St.

Last Week: #5

The Nittany Lions had no problem against Pittsburgh, and they should no problem this coming weekend against Georgia St. They look to start 3-0 with an easy schedule before opening BIG-10 play.

3. Clemson

Last Week: #3

The Tigers won a defense battle against Auburn this past weekend and face another AP Top 25 team this weekend against Louisville. It will be the Tigers second test in as many weeks.

2. Oklahoma

The Sooners went into Columbus and got their revenge after last years loss at home to the Buckeyes. Baker Mayfield is looking to prove the BIG-12 can have a playoff team without a Conference Championship and this win is another notch in that resume.

1. Alabama

Another week another win for the Crimson Tide. They look to have a final tune up against Colorado St. this weekend before they open up SEC play.
