Pick Six: Week 4

We are at week four, which means bye weeks are starting up! There are only two teams on bye this week: Packers and Eagles. Make sure you plan accordingly, and ask questions like everyone in this “Pick Six!” If you are unfamiliar with this article, I will be asking for fantasy questions on Twitter @FantasyFlurry with the hashtag #AskFLURRY. I will be choosing six of the best questions to answer right here each week to help you win your league! Please share this article so we can continue to get as many questions as possible, and we can grow our fantasy sports community!

1) Peter Gabal | @peter_gabal

Q: Would you trade Jennings and Sharpe or Moncrief for Edelman? PPR.

edelman

A: I would hang onto Moncrief if at all possible, but I’d be willing to give up Jennings and Sharpe, especially if you’re alright at RB. We don’t know if Jennings will be able to stay on the field once he returns, Sharpe is on a pretty poor passing offense, and Edelman’s value will rise when Brady comes back.

2) Travis Sousa | @broncosfan957

Q: I have to sit one: Landry, Robinson, Baldwin, or Jones Jr?

A: This is a complicated one. If Landry sounds pretty iffy because of his shoulder for Thursday night, sit him. If he is fine, then just play him. If Russell Wilson doesn’t play, then I would sit Baldwin. If Both Landry and Wilson sound healthy enough to be effective, I’d still probably sit Baldwin to be honest.

3) Belfort | @Austin_Blair_94

Q: Should I start Brees or Rivers this week? They are playing each other.

brees

A: It’s easy to start licking your chops at the sight of Rivers going against the Saints’ defense, but I’d hold off. I think the Chargers’ offense will do well, but I also think they will have plenty of success on the ground. We know Brees will have to throw 40+ times every week to keep his team in the game, and Rivers has not thrown the ball that many times in a game yet this season.

4) jrue | @cakersrsbk

Q: Should I sell high on L. Murray?

A: Yes! His numbers have looked good so far, but that is because he’s been falling into the end zone. This is a true running back by committee in Oakland. The touches were pretty even last week against the Titans: Murray (11), Washington (7), and Richard (7). In fact, Murray has gotten less touches each week: 15, 14, 11. If you are able to sell-high before he starts playing tougher defenses, I would absolutely do it.

5) John | @TheSportsKnow

Q: Do you think Blount could finish as a top-10 RB, or should I sell-high?

Buffalo Bills v New England Patriots

A: Could he? Yes. Will he? It will be close. As soon as Brady comes back, the “Belitricks” will begin. I think there will be weeks where Blount gets 20+ touches, then weeks where he’s on the sideline watching. They have be leaning on the run due to Gronkowski being out and inexperienced quarterbacks under center. With Brady back, they can perform their normal game plans. With that all being said, if you are able to sell-high, do it, but he is not a must-sell.

6) Jeff Miller | @alizak68

Q:  Need a D/ST this week, who do you like? WAS, CIN, DET, and BAL all available.

A: Out of those, I think I like the Bengals on Thursday Night Football the most. The Bengals got embarrassed by Trevor Siemian this week, and I think they take that out on the Dolphins. Miami has given up 37 points to opposing D/STs so far, and I think the Bengals have a good chance to add 7-10 more.

Thank you to everyone who submitted questions this week, and sorry if yours didn’t get picked! Make sure to send me more questions on Twitter this week to get make it in the next “Pick Six” and get answers/advice to help you win your fantasy championship and #ConquerTheCrown!
