NBA Free Agency News Continues

Rockets sign Ryan Anderson to a 4 year deal worth $80 million dollars.  The Rockets believe Anderson will be a great fit in new coach Mike D’Antoni’s offense. Eric Gordon will also join the Rockets to help with their guard play offensively.

Its time to pay the bills as The Cleveland Cavaliers owe $54 million dollars in luxury tax for their 2015 championship season.

AlHorfordBoston scores big as they sign Former Hawks Foward/Center Al Horford to a 4 year deal worth $113 million dollars.  Horford announced the news of signing with Boston via Twitter. The Hawks reportedly offered Horford a 5 year deal worth 136 million dollars which was less than a max deal. Celtics are confident that with signing Al Horford that Durant will look at them as a title contender.

The Dallas Mavericks intend to offer small forward Harrison Barnes a max contract estimated to be worth $95 million dollars over 4 years. The Warriors will have three days to match the Mavericks offer. Warriors claim that they will do everything they can to bring back Harrison Barnes if Durant does not sign with them. Barnes averaged 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds which was his best numbers of his career. He reportedly denied a $66 million dollar offer from the Warriors last off season.

Kevin Durant is expected to make his decision on where he will be playing basketball next season by Monday. In the last couple of days Durant had visits with Oklahoma City, Golden State, San Antonio, Boston and the Los Angeles Clippers. Reports say Durant is likely to sign a two year deal with a player option with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Next season Russell Westbrook becomes a free agency and where he decides to play basketball will have influence on what Durant will do when that 2 year deal is complete.
