NBA’s Rose, Teague, Hill, Calderon, Grant, & Holiday All traded today

Jeff Teague Atlanta Hawks point guard has been traded to the Pacers in a three team deal that includes the Utah Jazz. Point Guard George Hill will go from the Pacers to the Utah Jazz and the Jazz will send the number 12 pick in Thursday’s NBA draft to the Hawks.JeffTeague

For months now the Hawks have had Jeff Teague on the trading block in an effort to free up cap space.  Teague who is 27, averaged 15.7 points a game, 5.9 assists and 43.7 percent shooting has not been happy with the Hawks organization. The news of him getting traded to the pacers should be pleasing because of the fact that he gets to play along side Paul George.

George Hill who is in the final season of his contract was traded because the Pacers did not want to give him a long term deal.  Hill averaged 12.1 points a game and 3.4 assists.

The Jazz are happy to get Hill, considering the fact that they need a point guard just in case Dante Exum does not return,  as quickly as they would like from injury.

Teague and Hill are both expected to make eight million dollars each next season.Derrick-RoseoffColor
