Knicks Express Interest In Trading For Rose or Teague



Speculation coming out of the Knicks organization is that they are having discussions of bringing in a high-level point guard.  Teague has been in numerous of trade rumors recently and Derrick Ross will become a free agent this year. Both Knicks General Manger Steve Mills and Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek have both encouraged the idea getting the type of point card that can get their own shot and defend the basketball. 

Rose averaged 16.7 points and 4.7 assists in 66 games last year.  Jeff Teague also had a productive season scoring 15 points a game and averaged 5.9 assists. Expect the Knicks to start calling teams around the league, especially since the NBA draft is Thursday night.

Do not rule out a draft day selection of a point guard for the Knicks as an option. Knicks are currently looking to trade for draft picks to get back in the draft. 2014 and 2015 trades were the reason the Knicks do not have any selections.
