50 Shades Of Blue

What’s the world coming to when the only thing you have to celebrate is your side stopping your London rivals winning the title?

Tottenham-vs-Chelsea-Live-Stream-FreeWell even if that is all we had to cheer this season, it was well bloody worth it seeing those Tottenham thugs lose their cool knowing that Chelsea had crushed their title hopes.

Begovic; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Pedro; Diego Costa

Subs: Amelia, Baba, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Oscar, Hazard, Traore.

The whole Chelsea fan base were shocked at Hiddinks bizarre decision to drop Hazard. He finally showed some confidence in his play and bagged 2 goals and then gets placed on the bench next game! Very bizarre move by Hiddink.

On a positive note, the captain was back to lead the back line that had looked out of place under Ivanovic’s captaincy.

The game finished 2-2.

Chelsea started brightly but found themselves 2-0 down quite sharpish.

The 1st goal came from John Terry playing Kane onside, and the 2nd goal was a poor pass from Ivanovic that spurs capitalized on.

Hiddink acted on this at the break and bought on Hazard, who showed for pretty much the whole half, why he was voted player of the year last season. Hazard put on a dazzling display and was full of energy and dribbles that had the Spurs defense worrying every time he received the ball.

EdenHazzardCahill bought us back into the game with a nice finish from a corner, and then the sublime Hazard scored a peach of a goal, dribbling from his own half before playing a 1-2 with Costa and then sending the return pass into the top corner.

Spurs melted and hit self destruct, and tackles flew in from all angles. How on earth Eric Dier managed to stay on the pitch we will never know, as he did 2 X-Rated challenges that warranted red cards alone. Further action no doubt will be taken on Moussa Dembele after he tried to gauge Costa’s eye.

The frustrating thing is how the Spurs are now trying to diss Chelsea. The Spurs have had 1 good season, while Chelsea have pretty much been mixing it with the top dogs for a good 15 years. This is why people didn’t want the spurs winning the league because they focus on their 1 decent season and forget what others have been doing long before they decided to show up. May I remind Spurs fans that in Chelsea’s worst season since 1994 you have failed to beat us this season. You got 2nd place in the league well done!! When you win the league and then the Champions league maybe then you can start saying you’re the biggest side in London, but don’t get over excited over a decent season!

But all in all Chelsea stopped Spurs winning the title, we fought back after such an abysmal 1st half and Eden Hazard showed there is life yet in the wing wizard.

In Other News:

thibaut-courtois-at-chelseaThibaut Courtois has come out today and said that he is committed to Chelsea and will 100% be here next season. The young Belgian has had a very poor season and has looked beatable on many occasions. His outbursts to the media have left Chelsea fans with a sour taste in their mouths as Cech would never have acted this way. So I am hoping Courtois is now ready to knuckle down and show why Chelsea had so much faith in him.

DominicSolankeYouth player Dominic Solanke has tried to hold the club to ransom. Solanke has a contract that runs until the end of next season, and has told Chelsea he will only sign a new one if he is guaranteed 1st team football and is paid a whopping $50,000 a week. I am not sure who this lad thinks he is but how dare he make such demands when he isn’t exactly tearing up roots on his loan spell in Holland. Youth players these days are more about the money than proving themselves and these agents who are money hungry are giving poor advice to these young kids. It’s a shame because he will now be tarred with that brush. Chelsea have already seen another arrogant youth player leave in Domingos Quina, who put pen to paper on a deal with West Ham as he felt he should be a 1st team regular at Chelsea despite only being 16.

Pit of the week:

Ivanovic poor performance in a game where we needed our backbone to stand strong. Ivanovic showed he isn’t captain material and as far as I am concerned he is no longer Chelsea material.

Peak of the week:

As much as I enjoyed stopping Spurs win the league, my peak this week is the 2nd half performance of Eden Hazard. at 2-0 down I thought the game was over, but he took the game to Spurs and salvaged a point for us.

Next Fixture: 7/05/2016 Sunderland (a)

Until Next time…….. KTBFFH
