3 Impacts From Impact

Last night’s Impact Wrestling featured the fallout from Sacrifice! What stood out after the dust settled? Here are my 3 Impacts From Impact:

  1. After plaguing Gail Kim yet again last week, Maria Kanellis again attempted to ease her way to becoming Knockouts Champion. This time, instead of demanding that Jade give her the title, she actually had the gall to order Jade to lay down for her. Of course, Jade, being the proud competitor that she is, flatly refused. This led to Maria bringing out someone who she says “embraces her vision”:  Sienna! Sienna, known to indy wrestling fans as Allysin Kay, made her Impact Wrestling debut and fought with Jade in and out of the ring, with Sienna standing tall with the evil Maria at her side. Before officially becoming a Knockout, Allysin Kay participated at the Knockouts Knockdown tapings and defeated Gail Kim. She is the second KO to be signed this year, with Laura Dennis (now known as Allie in TNA) being the first. The two new KOs will actually face each other at WSU’s Unshakable IPPV next Saturday. BTW, Sienna and Jade do have some history with each other; at a match for Absolute Intense Wrestling, Jade broke Sienna’s nose.
  1. An actual King of the Mountain Match took place on Impact Wrestling last night, with Bram defending his newly won KOTM Championship against Eddie Edwards, Eli Drake, Jesse Godderz, and Andrew Everett–Gregory Shane Helms’ newest client. It was at Sacrifice that Bram defeated the now WWE bound EY to win the title, and his defense of the belt was a successful one. However, Eli had the KOTM briefcase, and he made a failed attempt to cash it in. I love the King of the Mountain match, so the fact that it was on free TV was just an absolute treat!
  1. Decay basically took over the whole show last night! After winning the tag titles last week, Rosemary gave Crazzy Steve and Abyss “makeovers, as she called it. Abyss loved his new look, calling himself beautiful before defeating James Storm. The trio later made a larger impact when they crashed the main event–a three way #1 Contender’s Match–and beat down Jeff Hardy! To say that Decay has arrived would be an understatement!

Those are my 3 Impacts from Impact! Until next week!
