Jon Jones’ Road back to the Octagon

Almost one year to the date that Jon Jones was arrested for the hit-and-run accident that caused him to be stripped of the light heavyweight title, Jon Jones will make his return to the UFC.

Just a few weeks ago Jones was arrested for violating his probation after being pulled over for drag racing. Jones can be seen in this video after being pulled over:

Jon Jones has an extensive history of controversy. In 2012 he crashed his car and was charged with DUI, in 2014 he was involved in a brawl with Daniel Cormier. It only got worse for him in 2015. On January 6th news came out that Jones tested positive for cocaine before his bout with “DC” and he was fined $25,000. On April 27th the Albuquerque Police Department confirmed Jon Jones was wanted for a hit-and-run accident from the morning before. The UFC stripped Jones of his title and suspended him indefinitely.JJ1

Now that Jones is set to make his return many wonder: does he deserve another chance?

In my opinion this should be his last chance. His history speaks for itself. Jones claims that he has cleaned his life up and will be on the straight and narrow from now on. If he does not make good on this promise he should not get another chance.
