WrestleMania will be Without 2 More Superstars

shane-mcmahonThe WWE is already without several big superstars for WrestleMania season. Randy Orton, Cesaro, and John Cena are all still healing from injury as well as Nikki Bella. If available, we have have to assume that all four of those superstars would have been used in some capacity in this years Wrestle-Mania event. WWE knows they are short performers this is why, in my opinion, they brought Shane McMahon back for their biggest event of the year. I welcome Shane-O-Mack back and I know his match with the legendary Undertaker will be entertaining, but I doubt that was the plan until the WWE had a hospital wing full of injuries.

But, if those injuries were not enough, you can now add two more superstars to that wing of the hospital. The first is Neville. The high flyer suffered an injury during his match with Chris Jericho on Monday’s episode of RAW. Jericho tried to call an audible in the ring and rolled up Neville to end the match. But, referee Charles Robinson called the match as a shoot and counted two instead three as Neville’s shoulders were up.

NevilleVSJerichoRobinson even went to Twitter and apologized to the WWE universe. Jericho got into a shoving match with the referee when he did not count three as Jericho tried to make the audible. Both men used some not so nice language and Robinson apologized for his mouth in the heat of the moment.

It was originally reported that Neville broke his shinbone and ankle, but WWE later confirmed that he fractured his ankle. Regardless, the unfortunate injury is going to keep Neville out of action for at least three months.

The second is Bray Wyatt. He is dealing with what the WWE is calling “a significant back injury.” If you watched the recent WWE Network event Roadblock you noticed that the match involving Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar was changed and not only was Luke Harper inserted in the match, he did most of the in ring work and Harper was also pinned as Wyatt watched from the ramp. BrayWyattFireflys

It should be noted that according to people in attendance, that Wyatt was involved in a match at Friday’s WWE Live event in Syracuse New York at the War Memorial. Wyatt teamed with Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan against The Usos and Kane. The Wyatt’s lost the match. Also from eye witness accounts, at one point in the match, Bray jumped down off the apron to the floor and let out an awful scream of pain.

I do have a scenario where I believe you could involve Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania and give a home town superstar a great WrestleMania moment at the same time, but that will appear on our website next week.
