Hawks Stung Badly By Hornets.

Let’s keep this real, and short.

HawksVShornetsThe Hawks looked terrible last night falling to Charlotte 107-84. Although a spark was lit underneath them to cut the lead to 1 at one point in the 2nd period, it just wasn’t enough to get them over the hump. Kyle Korver continues to struggle from beyond the arc, only converting 2-4 threes and adding 7 points on the night. He did a little better than Al Horford though, who only had 2 points to spare. Whats even harder to believe is that Paul Millsap was the only Hawk in double digits, but when you look in the first quarter he scored 8 of the Hawks first 12 points, and finished the night with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Jeff Teague and Kent Bazemore also chipped in 9 a piece.

JeremyLinFor the Hornets who snapped a 7 game losing streak, Kemba Walker exploded for 23 points and 5 assists. Cody Zeller cleaned the glass, and owned the paint adding 19 points and 10 boards. Let’s not forget the one known as Jeremy Lin, who entered “Linsanity” mode and went for 9 points in the 4th quarter to finish with 19 overall and 5 rebounds off the bench.

For the Hawks they drop to 23-16, and look to bounce back with a chance to edge Milwaukee on Friday night.
