Westbrook & Durant Score 44 & Blow Out Lakers

Russell Westbrook led the Thunder to there second win over the Lakers in five days.
Westbrook had a complete game scoring 23 points, having 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Kevin Durant added 21 points on 7 of 9 shooting.
“I knew after what happened in Oklahoma City, the Lakers would come out and really compete,” rookie coach Billy Donovan said. “I thought Kevin could have taken a lot more shots tonight, but he was really insistent on doing a great job of finding people, setting people up and making the game easy.”
Durant added 21 points for the Thunder in a rematch of their game at Oklahoma City, when they trounced the Lakers 118-78 with runs of 18-0 and 17-2. The Thunder once again had a big run in them as they came out on a 22-0 run to start the third quarter.
“It was like the starting gates opened up and the horses ran out,” Bryant said. “That third quarter, they just blitzed us, man. They got ahead with their athleticism and their speed and their length, and we we couldn’t get the game under control.”
In 27 minutes Kobe Bryant had 19 points on 7 of 22 shooting. The Thunder have dominated this series winning 12 of the last 15 games over the Lakers.
The Thunder outscored the Lakers 58-18 in the paint through the first three quarters maybe that is why the Thunder are 14-2 against Western Conference teams.
Both teams have key Christmas day match-ups and look to make statements. The Chicago Bulls will travel to Oklahoma City while the Lakers will host the other team in L.A., the Clippers.
