- Updated: December 24, 2015

Kobe Bryant scored a season high 31 points in 32 minutes to lead the Lakers past the Nuggets 111-107. Kobe also dished out 5 assists and defended numerous of Nugget players well.
“I can still play a little bit,” said Bryant, who was on the court for 32 minutes in the first game of a back-to-back. “It was a great test for me tonight to see if I could still play both ends of the floor.”
“He’s still a guy that sees the floor better than everybody,” coach Byron Scott said. “He sees it in slow motion.” “Barton was tearing us up in the first half,” Scott said. “I asked Kobe if he wanted to guard him. He’s like, Yeah, I got him.’ Two points after that. He just did a fabulous job.”
The Nuggets held were short handed as Danilo Gallinari and Emmanuel Mudiay were both out with ankle injuries. The Nuggets will try and bounce back as they play the Suns tonight and the Lakers will try to avenge there 41 point loss to the Thunder tonight in Oklahoma City.
