Pick Six: Week 15

“Pick Six” is back for the fantasy playoffs! “Pick Six” is a weekly article where I choose six fantasy football questions asked by YOU over on Twitter! Questions for the article can be asked any time from Monday through Tuesday afternoon, just send them to @FantasyFlurry. Of course, you can ask other questions anytime during the week and I will answer them. Please share this article so we can continue to get as many questions as possible, and we can grow our sports community!

1) Alex O’Neill | @oneilla7

Q: Which two to start at RB? Hightower, Freeman, or West if Ware is out?

A: You have to start Hightower and Freeman. If Ware is out, West’s value obviously goes up, but I’d still prefer the other two.

2) King Troll | @king___hero

Q: Who do you like better down the stretch: James White or Frank Gore?

A: I like Frank Gore more. It is tough to know what White’s role will be for sure, so I would rather have the guy who has a clear role, good amount of touches, and will have red zone carries.

3) drew | @cakersrsbk

Q: Mariota or Fitzpatrick this week?

A: I like Fitzpatrick more. I know the Cowboys have given up only one 300-yard passer, but I feel like that is more of a product of who they played. Fitzmagic should be able to rack up plenty of yards between Marshall and Decker, then be able to hit Powell or Ivory for some short dump-offs. I’m also not a big fan of rookie QBs against New England.

4) Camden Kalsu | @c_kalsu

Q: WR2, pick one, non PPR. Decker, Watkins, D. Thomas, or Baldwin?

Buffalo Bills v Detroit Lions

A: I think I’d go Watkins. I think the Bills will struggle to run, so they will have to throw. That’s why I have him ahead of Baldwin, because I don’t think the Seahawks will have to pass a ton.

5) The Scuzer | @619_259

Q: Need a streaming defense, having little-to-no points allowed is worth a lot of points. Rams, Texans, Bills, Lions, Jags, Bucs, and Patriots available.

A: I’m picking the Patriots. They looked dominant last week against the Texans, and gave up no touchdowns. They should get after Mariota and try to force him to make bad decisions. I never really like rookie quarterbacks against the Patriots. Number two for me would be the Bucs. They play the Rams, who always have a good chance of not scoring. Bucs are number two for me because they are on the road, and they didn’t play that great last week.

6) Chris | @cskdesigns88

Q: Bryce Brown or Denard Robinson as first waiver claim?

Denard

A: I’d want Robinson if I’m playing one of these guys this week. The Falcons are 4th-worst against running backs, and they really struggle against pass-catching running backs. Robinson should operate as an every-down guy this week. Bryce Brown will have the job the rest of the way for sure (barring setbacks), but the Browns have been a bit better against the run the past few weeks. He then has to play the Rams when Robinson would be playing the Saints.

Thank you to everyone who submitted questions this week, and sorry if yours didn’t get picked! Make sure to send more questions to @FantasyFlurry this week to get answers/advice to help you win your fantasy championship! Also, send your questions on Monday-Tuesday afternoon for a chance to make it in next week’s “Pick Six”!
