“Sugar” Shane Mosley returns to the ring December 17th

A former three time division champion returns to the ring for the second time since resuming his career.

Sugar Shane Mosely (45-9-1)40 kos

In the early 2000’s Shane “Sugar” Mosley was considered by many the pound for pound king after beating a prime Oscar De La Hoya to win the welterweight title. Mosely is just 2-4-1 in his past seven fights including one-side losses to Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alverez. On the bright side for Shane Mosely he is coming off a sixth round knockout of Ricardo Mayorga.  Lopez (23-5, 14kos) a 37 year-old southpaw will be Shane Mosely’s opponent December 17th. Lopez is coming off a 13 month layoff and is a huge underdog in the fight.

Mosley was born in Lynnwood, California and raised in Pomona California. He has two older sisters, Venus and Cerena. Mosley became interested in boxing after watching his father, Jack, box in street fights. Mosley has been trained and managed by his father since the age of eight.
