Chicago currently leads the series 92-90-6, but Green Bay has a current streak of 3 wins against Chicago since 2013. The next meeting will be this 4d34c1924ad70.preview-300Sunday, September 13th at Soldier Field. Packers’ coach Mike McCarthy didn’t hold anything back during an annual “Welcome Back Luncheon” when he said that Green Bay plans to “kick Chicago’s a**” in week 1. “We will proudly stand as the 95th team in history of the Green Bay Packers when we kick Chicago’s a**”, McCarthy said. Last November, the Packers and Aaron Rodgers defeated Jay Cutler and the Bears with a 55-14 victory.

It was all in fun, but I think it’s really just an example of why you shouldn’t say things like that in public,” McCarthy said. “The reality of it is, it is really the way the game is looked upon. It’s a great rivalry. I’m sure a lot worse is said in private about the opposing teams and so forth, but it is with great respect.”

So playing down there opening day, it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s a big challenge,” McCarthy added. So come Sunday the two teams will meet as Green Bay travels to Chicago for the season opener. The Packers have not lost a game at Soldier Field since 2010. Let’s see if John Fox’s Bears can change that.
