Real agree De Gea fee

On 7 August 2015, Manchester United manager Louis van Gall confirmed that De Gea would not be considered for selection for United’s Premier League opener against Tottenham the following day, due to the uncertainty surrounding his future. On 13 August, Van Gaal revealed that De Gea had requested to goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek, he be left out of the side. De Gea claimed he never expressed a desire not to play, but trained with the reserves soon after.
Real Madrid have agreed to a fee with Manchester United for goalkeeper David De Gea.
One of this summer’s most protracted transfer saga’s will end with the 24 year-old heading to the Bernabeu for a fee of $29 million.
Costa Rica international goalkeeper Keylor Navas will join United as part of the deal.
De Gea, whose contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season, is yet to feature for Louis Van Gaal’s side this campaign.
The deal is yet to be completed but should go through before the Spanish transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday night.
On 31 August after a summer of speculation, an agreement for a transfer was reached between Manchester United and Real Madrid involving $29 million and the exchange of fellow goalkeeper Keylor Navas, however the deal collapsed due to paperwork not being submitted before the transfer window in Spain closed.
