So who is the favorite going into tomorrow’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway? Let’s take a look who could be someone that might end it in Victory Lane.

Jeff Gordon wins a race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Jeff Gordon is the all time winner at Indianapolis with 5 wins. He won the very first race ever ran there in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as well as being the current defending winner there. His teammate Jimmie Johnson is not far behind him being a 4 time winner there but he hasn’t won there since 2012. How about home town fan favorite Tony Stewart? He is a 2 time winner there but hasn’t won since 2007 and everyone that follows NASCAR on a weekly bases knows he hasn’t had a very good year but coming home to one of his best tracks ever he should run very well.

Kyle Busch (54) wins the Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis,IN

Kyle Busch has won last 3 of out 4 races since missing 11 due to a broken leg that happen back in the season opener for Xfinity Series at Daytona. Indianapolis also has been a great track for him only having one finish outside the Top 20 in 10 career starts which  was back in 2009. How bout defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch? He has 1 career win at the brickyard back in 2003. How bout fan favorite Dale Jr. who has never won there but the last 3 races there he has finished in Top 10 each time.

Going into Sunday’s event it’s anyone guess. Are we going to see someone who already has a win this year get another? Are we going have someone win their first race this year? Maybe even have a first time winner in the series with a win? Is Jeff Gordon going win a record 6th Brickyard? Can Tony win and turn his season around?

Going into this years race I don’t have an idea who’s going to win, but one thing is for sure, it’s going to be a great race and who ever wins can say,” I am a winner at the fame Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the record book can never change that”.

Tune in Sunday afternoon when the Driver’s get ready to strap in at 3:30/12:30 on NBCSN. So who are you going be cheering for when they wave the green flag?
