Bournemouth snap up Distin
- Updated: July 2, 2015

Bournemouth have completed the signing of Sylvain Distin on a free transfer.
The 37 year-old will join the newly promoted side following his release by Everton.
The Frenchman brings a wealth of experience to Dean Court, having played for Newcastle, Manchester City and Portsmouth as well as the Toffees in the Premier League.
Distin has made 457 Premier League appearances throughout his career, and won the FA Cup with Pompey in 2008.
He is the Cherries’ sixth signing of the Summer so far, following club record signing Tyrone Mings, goalkeepers Artur Boruc and Adam Federici, free transfer Josh King and loan signing Christian Atsu.
