Liverpool agree on deal to sign Milner
- Updated: June 6, 2015

Liverpool have agreed on a deal to sign James Milner from Manchester City.
The 29 year-old will move to Anfield on a free transfer on July 1st, when his current City deal expires – subject to a medical.
Milner, who has won 53 caps for England, had been in talks with both Arsenal and Liverpool over a possible move, but has opted to join the Merseyside club after rejecting a contract extension offer from City.
It is being reported that the former Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Leeds United midfielder will take a $15,000 per-week pay cut to join the Reds.
