Pre-Season Preview; The Minnesota Twins
- Updated: March 11, 2015

The Minnesota Twins have been in the AL Central’s basement and have been fighting to stay out of it for quite some time. They finished last in the 2014 season 70-92, which made that their fourth season in a row with at least 90 losses. With that, they let manger Ron Gardenhire go after 13 years. The team brought in Paul Molitor to turn things around.
Key Losses
1B/OF Chris Colabello
RP Sean Gilmartin
Key Additions
OF Torii Hunter
SP Ervin Santana
As you can see, the Twins didn’t make a lot of moves in the offseason. They are putting their trust into their young players to step up and help. Torii Hunter is coming back to where his career started and that’s sentimental for a player close to retirement.
Projected 2015 Lineup
1. SS Danny Santana
2. 2B Brian Dozier
3. 1B Joe Mauer
4. DH Kennys Vargas
5. RF Torii Hunter
6. 3B Trevor Plouffe
7. LF Oswaldo Arcia
8. C Kurt Suzuki
9. CF Aaron Hicks
A lot of young players in the max to help this struggling team.
Projected 2015 Rotation
1. Phil Hughes
2. Ervin Santana
3. Ricky Nolasco
4. Kyle Gibson
5. Tommy Milone
2015 Prediction
The Minnesota Twins have a bright future, but it could take some time for them to have a winning season. They seem to be in a rebuilding stage, but I see them doing a little bit better than last season.
