This is an image from the official Buffalo Bills twitter account @buffalobills. Where according to the official site, over 220,000 tons, yes we said tons, of snow must be removed from the stadium before Sundays scheduled start time of 1:00pm against the New York Jets. They have approximately 4 feet of snow on the ground now, and are expecting another 1 to 2 feet by game-time.
Andy Major, the Bills Vice President of Operations said, “We can’t have too many people helping. We won’t be turning anyone away.” The stadium is called Ralph Wilson Stadium and it holds 73,967 people and is located at One Bills Drive Orchard Park, New York. They even have a number posted on their Twitter page that you can call for more details 716-636-4840. The Bills are offering to pay fans $10.00 per hour and free tickets, but there is currently a driving ban in Orchard Park, New York.
Currently, the weather is so bad, the team can’t even practice and the team is recording their strategies and schemes for the game and sending them out to the players electronically. The NFL, not the Buffalo Bills will decide what ultimately to do about playing the game. There has already been talk of moving the game back a day to Monday and doing something similar to the opening Monday night where they have two games being played at two separate times.
